When a Realtor lists the taxes on a property, are they supposed to list it without the star exemption?

That lsiting is probably taxes paid on the current assesed value. Most of the time the price you pay is much higher and the new tax bill with the updated assesed value could double or triple. Be carefull and do your own math.
