I don't often wear business suits, power or otherwise. I'm an interior designer and I find that I have to walk a fine line when it comes to fashion. I have to project an image of creativity, so suits don't really work, unless they are a little funky. But I can't get too wild, otherwise, I can scare clients away. So, it's a lot of separates for me.

I have a navy blue tank style dress (thin stripes) with walking slit in back, and attractive navy blue pumps to complete the look. I must say I look pretty darn good for my age in this outfit.
For air-conditioned offices, I carry the matching jacket that came with the suit. I also have the matching slacks for variety. It was a worthwhile investment.

I like to wear slim grey suit pants with a subtle pinstripe, a white longsleeve, pretty light, and a matching suit vest. I usually wear small black heels or flats with it. I'm a doctor, though, so I don't exactly have a 'power suit'.
