i used my hard disk to check another computer and fixed as secondary master after finishing job i fixed it again on my own pc as primary master but the bios detects it as sceondary master and when i want to install yahoo msgr 8 it installs in "f" drive and messege pops up "C" is not accessible wheras my windows drive is C.how is that?i am unable to intall in "C" drive

The jumper settings weren't changed, were they?

I myself haven't had this problem, but I usually don't use my harddrive as a master on another computer...

Yeah, you should look on the hard drive and make sure that the jumpers are set up correctly for primary and if you plan on using the other one make sure that the jumpers for that are set to secondary. There should be a diagram oon the hard drive, if not then look up some documentation on the internet.

Also, make sure that you hard drive is hooked up the way it was before you removed it. Powersource, mother board, and all.

If worse come to worse there is always the reformat option. Good luck.

Check yur cables and also, check yur jumpers. By where u plug in the wires, look for initials like Cable Select (CS) Master Slave(MS) and Primary Slave (PS) etc and move the jumper. Problem shud be fixed.
