I'll get thumbs down for saying this, but from what I've experienced in life, Females in general like to whine more about anything they can for attention or just to get their way.
It's not that girls are more "complicated" or anything like that. It's because we are slaves to our bodies. Guys usually have stronger bodies, and so they find it easier to compete against others or be heard physically. Girls have weaker bodies, and much higher pitched voices, and find it easier to compete or be heard vocally.
We're all the same human beings, only do things slightly differently to reach the same goals do to our body differences.
Further more, guys as well as girls both strive to be popular and better than everyone else. Again, boys usually do it physically, girls usually do it verbally, only because the body dictates that to be easier one way or another to get more effects and attention.

I have to disagree a little with this one. I think boys argue as much as girls do, believe it or not. The only difference between them is that each gender has a different approach. Girls are known to be more confrontational while boys are more to "wait". Like they'll take things to sports or wait til' the other approaches. I mean the whole world competes and argues, we all want to be number one, the best. I guess, like my brother says, girls just think too much when they shouldn't. But at the same time, like I always say, Boys dont think enough. =)

In reality, most girls are actually very easy to get along with... unfortunately, there are stereotypes that bring the whole female gender down as a whole... it turns out - all the girls that are argumentative stand out more then the ones who are not.. plus, those types of people usually group up with others of the same type. so I guess you could say that it just seems like there is more bad than good. We only notice the really bit**y girls. lol

I'm an adult and still argue. I guess I just have a hard time backing down when someone says something I know to be wrong or when it's an issue I believe strongly in. My fiance tells me that he always wanted Ms. Right, but he didn't realize her first name would be Always. I think it's just a female thing.

The truth is it is a man's world. Oh, I know all the talk, but when you strip the garbage away, it still remains a man's world. Women have, since they entered the workplace, made great strides to even the playing field. Yet the truth is they are swimming upstream. Men have the control. Some women just think they do.

I don't think girls compete and argue more. I've seen the same thing in both genders.

Because girls are more complicated than guys. Girls are constantly comparing themselves to other girls no doubt, and i'm sure guys do it too but more so girls, plus girls have a lot more pressure from the media to look and act a certain way

It is a coming of age ritual that all teenage girls find themselves smack in the middle of. Unfortunately it falls to the ones who are prettier to win more battles as teenaged boys are too shallow to look for the good inside a person.
