Okay, my best friend has been waking up late for work three times out of the week. He goes to be early, but still wakes up late. How or what can I do to help him not to be late for work. I have offered to call him in the morning, but I would some other advise to help him out.

Oh yeah, my friend is very responsible for getting to work on time. Sometimes he just has a little bit of trouble sleeping and those are the days that he wakes up late. I don't want to to get fired, he just wants me to help him find a way to not sleep through his alarms.

You could suggest for him to put his alarm clock on the other side of the room so that in order to turn it off, he actually has to get up and do it. This way he won't fall back asleep after hitting the Sleep button.
Actually, here's something even better that I just found out about. The clock actually runs and hides when you hit snooze to make you get up and look for it to turn it off!

for a herbal fix:
1 tea spoon apple or coconut vinegar
1 tea spoon honey
1 cup extra warm water
mix and drink many times a day.
if no results increase the amount of vinegar or take it alone in small amounts. with time the amount of sleep will reduce. to reverse the effect take 1 table spoon of coriander seeds in hot cup of water.
if he is not getting enough rest in his sleep then:
1- the bed is not comfortable try sleeping on the rug or a couch or buy a tempurpedic memory foam mattress.
2- take melatonin supplement 3 mg from Good'n'Natural 1 hour before sleep.
3- make sure there is complete darkness.
4- make sure there are no noises.
also you could attach an electric alarm to a loud speaker! or a cold water shower!

Set his clock 10 or 20 minutes early while he's not looking. When he sets the alarm, he will wake up. My boyfriend did this to me and it worked.

you can't, let him get fire than he will learn. like you said, he get up early, but still comes to work late. As a manager view, he is out the door. But if he learn from this, and you don't have to play baby sit, then he will learn.
remember there are more than one job out there. he has to learn. you can't help him

There's not much you can do for chronic sloth. After he gets fired a few times he might get the clue and get there on time.

Sounds like he is not a very responsible person. Getting up is something he has to do for himself. If he relies on you to get him up and one day you don't, then he loses his job, he will blame you.
