the switch has an orange wire with a small black plug on end of it does any one know where i hook this wire to??? my car is a standard please help so i can get back to work need to eat thanks

why did you not just go to a lock smith and have them make you a new key. unless you STOL the car .it would cost about 30.00 bucks in the U.S.
take the switch back and do that.

Why didn't you just go to a locksmith. That is their job. Don:t even open that new part. I am very experienced in losing my keys and if someone doesen;t know what they are doing they are gonna ruin something else.

you should have went to a chevy, gm, or pontiac dealer gave them the vin number and bought a new key for a few dollars
