There is no direct flight from Iceland to Iraq. You will probably have to change planes a couple of times on the way and I'm not sure whether the international airports in Iraq are being used for civil passenger flights at the moment. You might need to get there some other way. But regardsless, it will surely take you very long to get from Iceland to Iraq. I think you're looking at a minimum 24 hours and up to several days, depending on whether the airports in Iraq are open.

If you are serious about making this trip I recommend you search for information backwards, that is, that you first try to find out about connections from Iraq to other countries and from there you can check connections to Iceland. There are regular flights between Iceland and most West European countries, so the main problem is to find connections for the rest of the way. Travel agencies should be able to help you, but you might get cheaper results if you do the searches yourself on the internet.

Several hours, I would think. Certainly you are not planning such a trip? Perhaps you know a soldier that is or has made the trip? You could go to Google Earth, if you can, and look up one of those and ask to compute miles to the other.
