although I prefere white sage, it smells better, also can burn smaller amounts at a time, but you need charcoal blocks to burn it on. Smuge sticks have a tendency to burn all the way down, and are hard to put out without ruining them.

They are what's referred by some as "Smudge Sticks." Some stores that carry incense may carry the smudge sticks. If you have a store in your area that specializes in the spiritual, they should have it. If you ever visit Virginia Beach, they have a wonderful store called "The Heritage." Not only do they carry the smudge sticks, but also insense, books, and you can chow down in their natural foods cafe.
