A Scene In a Movie? What is it?

Iam asked to write an analysis of a movie. How do I know when the scene starts and when the scene ends? Thanks

thats probably at your own discretion. if you want to be really exact, find the script online. they might have it at http://www.imsdb.com/

in general, i guess a scene lasts for as long as it is at a particular location, but this isnt concrete. some scenes may switch back and forth between two places, etc.
