he's overrated. sure he's fast and has a strong arm but there's no accuaracy and he is really short for a QB. the web site says 6' but he's really closer to 5'10". some of his linemen are 6" taller. that's why vick looks better when he scrambles than in the pocket. he can't see the field with his lineman and the other lineman in front of him. he has great talent and cacn make some amazing plays but when a QB has trouble with the routine passes he won't perform. too bad he didn't get moved to running back early in his career.

Vick is wayyyyyy overrated as a QB...he sucks at the position man. He couldn't complete 50 % ( this year )of his passes to save his life. And all the football announcers think he's the next Joe Montanta or Dan Marino or something. What the Falcons need to to is bring in a QB and let Vick do what he does best and thats be a running back...RIght now if they made him just an RB.. he would be the most dominant rb the NFL has ever seen and would win the rushing title every year for like ten years straight.
He would make an AWESOME RB... but he's a SH!TTY QB !!!!!!

Right on brotha! Mike VIck is a horrible quarterback. People sit and blame Alge Crumpler and their other receivers for them dropping 4 or 5 passes, but what they don't realize is that was one of the first time that Mike Vick has been on target. If you could catch on one bounce, or catch the ball out of bounds, Mike Vick would be superb. Yes, he has great running abilities, but when it comes to passing, he is about 52% completion percentage over his career.

What has he accomplished? He set a rushing record for a qb, got lots of endorsements, makes big bucks with the Falcons, got and then gave herpes to some chick, and also gave us his alias...Ron Mexico. The Saints did great on Monday, I loved every minute of that game. The Falcons will implode this year now that Steve Smith is back, watch out for Carolina in the NFC South.

I wouldnt say too lazy, i think its more a case of too stubborn to change what he is... but also, he is not a very accurate thrower of the ball, so that might be why he thinks run before pass. But theyre running that college offense they ran for him at Va Tech... and he seems to be doing well in that Faux option crap... so why hate on the guy.

But Overated, yeah, he is. For someone who has don Dick in the NFL, he gets entirely too much press. I think atlanta keeps hoping he'll sumday turn into Donovan Mcnabb, who was the exact same way at first, and would always break contain to run with ball...now Donovan only scrambles to avoid the blitz and runs if he can't find ANYONE to throw ball too. If vick learned to throw 5 straight on the money passes in a row and do what Mcnabb does, he has taalent to be best QB in League... but is he overated? yes, VASTLY!

I don't think he is overrated as far as his athletic ability BUT he is overrated on his abilities as a NFL QB. I thought the Saints did an excellent job on Monday night of taking away his legs and making him be a QB and as we saw he struggled. Vick is a gifted RB trying to play QB.

Good arm strength, great open field runner, crappy judgement, and an even crappier team. On a rating 1-100 I'll give him an 80, only cause he can run and run he will, to no avail.

a little over rated, needs to stick to running not throwing. seems like when the falcons get down in a game he kind of gives up. he should try to make somthing happen.

Great powerful arm, superb scrambling/running but lacks the pinpoint accuracy and defensive reading skills to make him hall of fame.

overrated - yes. lazy no. dumb as a box of hair - yes.

the fact that he still hasn't figured out how to read defenses in his 4th year is amazing. just make him a running back already.

Are you serious? He has the 6th highest winning percentage among all active Qbs, and he's led the Falcons to the playoffs numerous times. And he's been to the Pro-Bowl many times because people recognize his talent.
