If it can be anything, the easiest thing to write about would be something you know a lot about... your family, friends, what you did over the summer, your goals and aspirations, or an event the changed your life.. Maybe a death of a family member, a broken body part!
That should give you some ideas.

Pick something that interests you. You could describe how to do a specific project in your favorite hobby or compare two of your favorite music groups. Describe your room, or pick a controversial subject and argue for one side or the other.
One thing that my students used to enjoy was researching the events that were taking place on the day that they were born. You could find information about world events, local news, sports, fashion, etc., and then put the facts together in report form.

Take advantage of this! Write about something that you love to talk about because you rarely get a paper assigned on whatever you like!

Write about something you know and are interested in. Or, you could write about a person - a relative or friend.

Why don't you just write about something you enjoy, like a hobby or a sport? It's much easier writing about something you like and know a lot about than something you don't like.
