What is your favorite flavor and did the green mint have a strangely industrial taste?

They still make them. Now I am going to tell you that they were first developed for the military. They wanted a candy that could last for a long time when stored away. They first started using them in C-rations.

I used to live for the chocolate ones, but when you get a whole roll of chocolate, they just don't taste as good. Now I like the green wintergreen. They still sell them here and there.

I liked the orange ones (that didn't really taste like orange) and yes, the green ones tasted kind of like packing peanuts. (don't ask how I know what those taste like)

YES!! I love them. I think they still maker 'em...The green ones tasted like metal..
