Whenever my browser spawns a flash video player (for yahoo videos, CNN videos, etc.) the video never plays.?

The place where the actual media is supposed to appear is just blank. Any suggestion?

1.) do you have the flash player installed?
2.) do you have JavaScript enabled for that site?
3.) if you're using Firefox and having problems it may be because the site is insisting you need ActiveX - you don't, but they won't let you have direct access to the video.
If this is the case, there are work arounds - for Yahoo videos google "pklaunch". You may need Greasemonkey to run it.
