If the week were a hill with Monday being at the bottom of one side, and Friday being at the bottom of another, then the top of the hill (or hump) would be Wednesday. We're over the hump now.

it means its wednesday, as in the middle of the week. it's as if the whole week is a hill, and since wednesday is in the middle, its if ur going over the hump.
