Freeze spending at the Federal level for four years. Eliminate the pork from the budget. Let the people vote on any new taxes and increasing the deficit. Pass a Constitutional Amendment that prohibits deficit spending except during a time of a Declared War. Just a few thoughts.

Change the political party in power every couple of terms.
No matter who is in, they eventually get greedy and stupid and start spending like tax money is theirs instead of OURS.
Plus bring in laws making gross mispending a felony that congress, bureaucrats and senators cannot be immune from.
