I'd go to hsn or qvc. They carry a wide range, everthing from inexpensive costume jewelry to high end gems, lots of sterling silver and gold too.

you don't say what kind of jewellery you are after - tiffany's are online now, so that may be a good place to start! so are gucci... if your budget is a little tighter than than, i would say polkadotjewellery.co.uk; diamondgeezer.co.uk so are www.jewellery-shop-online.com; www.ampalian.com; www.thebeautifulcompany.co.uk.
