Well June, since YOU are the one getting their questions removed by Yahoo, and YOU are the the getting the violation notices and YOU are the one following Island Queen around and bashing her and always whining about her and posting rude questions and remarks about her, it seems YOU are the problem, the troublemaker and the jerk! And what did Island do to deserve any of this? Oh, yeah, she once asked you to use the spell checker as did about 20 other people. lol Good for Yahoo!
Move on and get a life!

A big NO. The world over the visual media is worried about the TRP ratings. A better TRP rating means more income through advertisements. The print media is worried about the circulation figures. A better circulation brings in more advertisement and more income.
Again owners of the media groups have their own agenda which has to be projected as the truth. Even if you write a letter to the "letters to the editor" column the same will be vetted to suit the needs of the magazine/newspaper.
Both the print media and the visual ones are alligned to the political parties in one way or the other. Therefore, they have to cater to their needs.
Who cares for the people least of all to defend the TRUTH?

The idea of the media as being the first line of defense for truth is largely hyperbole. Reporters, editors, etc., are human, so true objectivity is impossible. We all come equipped with our own biases, and the lower ranks of media pros have to learn to stifle these biases as best they can. Once you start rising through the ranks of the media, the amount of control you exercise over what does and does not get reported increases. Look at Rupert Murdoch's ownership and running of Fox News. It is a very conservative network, and often skews coverage in favor of Republican interests. Murdoch was a huge contributor to Dubya's campaigns. Likewise, there are also liberally biased media shops out there. The worst offenders are those which are owned by corporations. ABC is owned by Disney. Former Disney CEO Michael Eisner had a policy that ABC news outlets (at least nationally) shouldn't report on the affairs of the parent company. either CBS or NBC (forget which) is owned by General Electric (GE). Even independent rags don't want to report negatively on stories that affect their advertisers. Bias is inherent in the media because so many interests are involved.

No. But that's what we are supposed to believe.
The media is owned by just a few Zionists who only publish wart they want us to know - things which will help forward their agenda of world domination.
What about Operation Mocking Bird, which involved 3000 CIA operatives infiltrating editorial offices for the purposes of censorship?

The media has more bias than there are stars in the sky lol. And they have their own slants and agendas. The media does not report the truth or even a fair and unedited version of it. They re not interest in relating the fact, only in telling their own version with their own opinions thrown in.
