no, not at all. we all love and adore the italians and their ways and accents and food and manners and style. not true at all. we all dream of visiting rome someday. VIVA ITALIA.
we honor columbus as an Itialian, ( even tho he was actually a Jew, posing as Christian to avoid persecution)
We have colunbus day parades. we named America after an Italian : Amerigo Vespucci. even tho it was discovered by the Nordic people and the chinese before Columbus.
We consume vast quanities of what we think is italian food, speghetti and Pizza and drink rivers of italian wines. We have no bad sterotypes about italians that remain now after the few bad years in the beginning. you are welcome here and we want to come see you. we also love italian bread . yummy.
we think your woemn are voluptuous and exoctic and your men romantic. we like the music. Italian shoes are the envy of the world and we buy mountains of them at high prices. nothing is coler than an italian made or cut or styled suit. I could go on forever.

Man, there are assholes in every culture. But no that is very false. There may be a small percentage that think that way, but I'm definitely not one of them. Italian men are so sexy and the food is fantastic. If there is somebody that doesn't like Italians then there is something seriously wrong with them.
So whoever told you that was very wrong!

i don't my boyfriend is half italian i think they are people and people have different personalities. Some people can be assholes weither they are American, Italian, Asian etc.

no. i think there is an old image of mobster. but usually i think most americans think it is the other way around. our perception is that most europeans think we are assholes.
