Bro, washing don't do a thing for peppers. What burns so bad is oil that is left on your fingers. Also our skin is porous so the oil kinda soaks in. And you know just how well oil and water blend.
I suggest some dawn grease cutting soap or some gojo orange hand cleaner. either way once the hands are all clean suck on them for a sec and see if you still get the burn. alot of times the only way off is just to let it wear off in a day or two.

Next time you're chopping peppers wear gloves, just the cheap disposable kind will do. When you get pepperburn cover the entire area with cold sour cream or yoghurt.
What was it you touched? I hope to God it was her eyeball, somehow I think I'm wrong.
By the way, how did the habanero sauce turn out?

all jokes aside when you cut up peppers, onions, garlic, or any spice in that nature you should wash hands and then rub them against something steel. you can find a steel bar of soap at most cookware stores. but you sink works nice if it is steel. good luck next time and watch where you put your fingers. lol

i sprayed pepper spray on a swing at a park and a girl swang on the swing and got the pepper spray in her mouth and eyes and had to go to the hospital.
