When I first started to play pool at my local pubs, I was known as "the pub counselor" for a long while, because people would come up and start talking to me and tell me their troubles.

It was cool a first and I liked helping, but sometimes, I just wanted to just chill and have a drink and maybe vent to someone myself.

So...my favorite bartender got me a desk sign that said, "the counselor is out" on one side and "the counselor is in...2 drinks per session" on the other.

I loved it.

A bitter psychotic facial expression works just as well and saves on paper.

I just mentally tune them out and hope they'll get the message. Space out and say "huh?" a lot while they are speaking.

What would be even nicer is to have a full/empty sign and when is empty people putting stuff in there.
My head still remains empty though, hmmm
