What choice is there? How do you test new surgical procedures and drugs? On humans? I love animals, I am all for their humane treatment too. I can only hope the animals are treated as well as possible and strict guidelines are followed. But where would we be without using them in medical research?

Experiments are needed if we are to boost clinical understand-how. for this reason it really is easily mandatory for zoologists to apply animals for experiments. there is an awesome tale about a lady scientist who can not bear the considered employing mice for experiments that would let us know how the mind applications. So she grew to change into to creating use of round worms rather. i wager worms are so gross that maximum folk do not ideas zapping their mind cells with lasers to make sure out which mind cellular controls what. Mice, OTOH, are lovable and hairy to many human beings, inclusive of a few scientists, so there are those who can not abdomen doing experiments on mice, somewhat if the experiments ought to damage them. BTW, experiments do no longer needed damage the topics. as an celebration, there are some experiments in which scientists paint the feathers of a few male birds darker to work out in the experience that they are literally extra alluring to females human beings. The paints that are used are innocuous, and the birds used contained in the experiments are not to any extent further harmed in any way. for this reason, do not freak out in case you hear the time period animal experiments.

its disgusting i used to protest with an animal liberation group cant mention names but what they did to the animals was horrendous putting bleach in Guinea pigs eyes to see if they go blind and putting nail varnish remover in rabbits eyes and on there skin so it was so sore they had to be put down i managed once to get in an animal lab no names mentioned and i was sick when i came out experiments should be banned on animals the images i saw are too horrific to write on here but if you went in one you would feel the same I'm a pet owner and i could never imagine putting my animals through that they should find another way with out using animals

dont like them, everything i have seen that they do with the animals is very cruel and many times they are in great pain and agony, they feel pain just like we do, if it was to save human lives maybe but that is not what is happening in these experiments on them......they suffer a lot....

Thank God they exist. If 1000 animals have to die to save the life of 1 human, it will have been worth it. I'm sure that kooky animal rights folks would happily reverse the equation.
