Can anyone help? I am a teen. My Grandmother of whom I was very close to died about 4 years ago. Only the thing is I still haven't really come to terms with it.The thing is when she died I I ended up due to circumstances an awful amout of high school. Therefore I missed pretty much all of my religious education and therefore I don't really understand where she's gone. I hope this doesn't sound like a stupid question (only I just wondered because I missed such a lot of school) but do they give a good all-round general education in Religion in High schools??
What sort of things about religion do they teach you?
CAN ANYONE POSSIBLY HELP?????

Call a church that is in your religion's affiliation and ask if they can help you out. I wouldn't rely on school to help you in religious education, unless of course, it's a religious school.
Any clergy would be more than happy to help you through this time in your life. And don't worry about asking questions, that's what they're there for!! I pray you will find the answers you need and find some peace!

Only in a private school. Never in a public school.
Some folks don't like that. Generally they don't seem to realize that the purpose of keeping religion out of government (and government-run institutions) is to keep the government out of religion.

As far as I know, my area high school offers no classes on religion except for a "Bible as Literature" Class.
Classes and school clubs vary by region, so the best thing to do would be to ask around.

If you're talking about government run (public) schools, I hope not! Religion has no place in public schools. Start going to church if you're really interested. In fact attend a variety of churches, and decide for yourself about religions!
