If there's three box and whisker plots, two with the the same minimum and maximum but the other one with a longer minimum, but it's box plot is significantly higher than the others, does it matter whether it's minimum is longer?

If I understand your question, the "higher" box plot represents data that has a significantly higher median (like an average) value. So that box plot on average has a higher value than others. The longer "minimum" just indicates that the data used to create the higher box plot has a greater range (the data points are more spread out) than the other two box plots (and their corresponding data sets).

So I think the answer is no. The highest box plot has the largest median value. And although it's interesting, it does not matter that the minimum is longer.
