What arguments could be made for and againsnt the Independence of England?

Hi. I am writing a paper for my history class and i would like different opinions. If you lived in the 1763-1775 would you have came to the new world or would you have stayed in England?

Do you mean independence "of" or "FROM" England? England is already a seperate independent nation and was during the period you referenced. I would haved chosen to come to the new world!

It would entirely depend on what I assume was my position in England. If I was not subject to religious or political persecution and was comfortably situated, I'd stay.
