I have a Sears stacked washer/dryer with digital controls. There's an option in the panel to turn off the dryer, but you may have to experiment.
Have you tried the manufacturer's website? They usually have an Adobe or similar copy of the User's Guide/manual.

Different dryers have different ways of controlling the buzzer. What kind of dryer do you have?
