Sounds like you are not from USA. So I can't answer your question, other than logic. Check the local paper and maybe Craig's List on the net and see if you find for sale by owner.

You could do the legal paperwork yourself. But, a garage is a property and so needs the same searches etc, and correct transference of title as a house would (although a garage is much cheaper). I think it is as well to use a solicitor.

you can buy a garage even if you do not have a car...how is that for freedom...solicitor,,you are mad. chuck your money away. get the garage. Then get the car. Then. ask your wife girlfriend, best friend if he lkes it. Who needs a solicitors opinion, unless, he is your best mate.

yes you can buy a garage for a car . as long as it will be on your own land and you have building permission to have it errected . bear in mind a garage has to be more than 20 feet clear from any other building this is supposed to be for fire percautions .god knows how builders get away with building them under houses etc . i guess if your face fits with local councils youll get to do anything .

Yes...ck with Lowes or Home Depot. they sell garages and will help with a contractor if needed

yes phone your local council offices and they will supply you with free solicitors who will advise you on what to do and no cost to yourself.
