What is a good way to find people for a band? I'm really limited. First, I live in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere (almost), but I know no one. Second, they have to be Christians. Third, I'm homeschooled, so school friends are out. Fourth, The church I go to doesn't have anyone my age. Fifth, no youth groups . . . I can't place an ad either . . .

make signs and post them around town, saying you want a band member for a christian band, and put an age limit on the auditioners so that you can hopefully find someone around your age. post them in your town and maybe if you have a larger town nearby post them there too.

What U can do is post an ad on the internet for ex: go 2 www.guitarcenter.com and post an ad there!!!
I just got my band by my bff saying " hey Clare, me and my friends were thinking of making a band, do u wanna join?", and that's how I got a band!!!

you have presented quite the dilemma.
are there other churches in the area with youth groups?
is there a music store in town?
coffee shop?
these are all places you can post a musicians wanted sign...
is your mom part of a homeschool network? there might be other kids like you who want to rock it.
myspace has a classifieds section, you can use that...
another option is to work on stuff on your own until you are in an environment with more musos.
