It depends on what vet school you want to go to and what you want to specialize in (small mammals, farm animals, exotics, or american wildlife). You could major in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, wildlife biology, ecology, or even environmental science. Just make sure that you check the vet schools you are interested in attending. They may have certain courses that they want you to take before you would be accepted.

There are several you could but you want to make sure you get the basics so that you don't have to go back and do them later. Majors include: Biomedical Science, Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Biology.

Undergraduate- Biology, Chemistry, Bio-Med Engineering( if you like a challenge). Most vet school will even take liberal arts grads, matters on where you go, and if you want to have a certain basic understanding before hand.
