Y'all are funny. Making war available only by a popular vote of the people is the stupidist thing I have ever heard. Most of the people in this country are too ignorant and not up on current world or national events and would honestly have no idea when a it would or would not be a good time to go to war. Take a look at the fact that not even people with college degrees can name the Vice President, Secretary of State, or Secretary of Defense unless they are into politics. Most people don't know which president took us into Vietnam. No people are way too stupid to vote on war.

Not allowing one party to have a high concentration of people in either house would in essence prevent people from having the right to vote for who they want to represent them. Noone truly would want to be prevented from voting for who they want cause it would put 1 too many people from one party in either house.

Term Limits have been tried many times over and never succeeded, and probably never will, but I do agree there should be some, not as restrictive as no more than 2 terms and ten years, but something to prevent lifetime senators would help. Lucky said aiding the enemy of our nation, not verbally supporting them. I would take aiding to mean supplying with weapons or viable targets. which is not freedom of speech.

Doing away with income tax is a good idea and one being currently looked at, but paying a tax bill during elections puts more burden on an already over burdened election system, and is hard on individuals. Making a national sales tax as opposed to income tax is a better idea and one currently being looked at and gives the government a fair amount of money while allowing us to do what we wish with our money.

I myself would want an ammendment making abortion illegal or at least up to the individual states. Saying that abortion shold be legal has anyhting to do with right to privacy is wrong. Killing another loiving thing is not right to privacy, and if people want to say it is then I can kill anyone I want and it is my right to privacy to not be convicted of it. Sounds stupid doesn't it? How about this one, Why if we are supposed to be some of the smartest and most civilized animals on this planet do we do something so uncivilized and violent as to kill our children. Like it or not form the moment of conception it is a living thing, and should be wrong for us to destroy a living thing, especially one that we create by our actions. If you don't want a child take on some responsibility and don't commit the act or at least take as many precautions as there are that exist, only one precaution is not good enough as many women I am sure know.

Our elected officials should be telling the truth regardless of being under oath and if you suspect someone of lying you can call them on it and even not vote for that person again. Besides Clinton showed us how much some of our elected officials think of lying under oath.

The "Amendment" that I like to make to the Constitution is that any politician and/or elected official and/or civil servant and/or government employee at any level or branch of government caught and convicted of stealing money, services and/or equipment, cheating on taxes or campaign contributions, involved in graft/extortion/bribery and/or misappropriation of funds, knowingly and willfully lying in part or in full, and/or knowingly and willfully deceiving the public in public or private groups, anywhere in public, news media in print, radio or televised or Internet or any means of communication whether campaigning or in office or involved in any petty crime, whether on his/her official hours or after work hours, regardless, or accepting and/or asking and/or demanding favors and/or gifts and/or monetary gratutities and/or compensation and/or payment while under the employ of the government from any private source and/or group and/or organization or company and/or institution and/or lobbyist and/or any special interests should have to spend 10 mandatory years attached to whatever he/she gets for a misdemeanor with the regular population in a prison and 20 mandatory years if a felony plus whatever the courts give him for the felony and must make mandatory full restitution and forefeit and/all benefits accrued while employed by the government... without the possibility of pardon/parole/early release or Presidential Pardon...!

Also, another "Amendment" whereupon each and every elected official in any and all capacity must make contributions to Social Security AND his/her own Retirement Benefits and pay for his/her own medications out of pocket and not as part of gratuities from any private source and pay out of pocket for their own meals and beverages at all times and meetings, vacations and/or while on leave of absence from post duties.

I would like an amendment that does away with income tax withholding. Everyone would have to pay his entire state and federal tax bill on election day. After a person paid his or her taxes, then he or she could vote. The benefit would be that taxes would go down exponentially once people realize how much they really have to pay. Also, only taxpayers could vote.

An amendment that restricts the house of representatives from having a high concentration of people from just one political party.
Lucky doesn't get it. It's not treason. It's freedom of speech. And to say otherwise shows ignorance of the essence of democracy.

The rights of women to choose an abortion. Basically, so we can appoint qualified Supreme Court justices without this one issue hanging over everyone's head. So that this issue can go away and we can get one-platform voters thinking about something else.

That anyone elected to office be under oath at all times for the duration of their time in office. THey don't have to tell everything, but everything that they do tell the American People should be true.
