PLEASE NO ONE SAY BUSH!
I know people are going to say GWB, although nothing he has done for our country has accomplished anything positive.
Only Clinton was able to balance our budget, give us a net surplus of $127 billion, lower unemployment very significantly, and give himself such a likable aura. Ignorant people don't realize this.

The best leader in the world is God, as he created the world and all that is in it. He gave us the Ten Commandments to follow so that we can love one another and live peacefully. However, not too many people follow Him.

The most recent prime minister of Japan, Kuozumi (sorry for the spelling) was quite good. He was a reasonable man who seemed not to be troubles by corruption.

HUGO CHAVEZ. and here's my reasoning: when we were in our "oil hey day" in the 70s and 80s, did we do ANYTHING socailly that was newsworthy...the answer is no. Gasoline in Venezuela is cheaper per gallon than bottled water...go figure.
