taylor is right, you need a band account. you can't change a normal account to a band one...

You don't, you can add a song from a music artists myspace page or upload a song to YouTube, then link the URL to your myspace account.

You can only do that if your profile is a band profile. Everyone else searches under the Music section for a band they like and then clicks the "Add" option next to the song they like on the band's page.
