They are so different from the Rocky Mountains!!! Neuscuanstin (Lude Wig's Castle --- that Walt Disney modled Disney's castle from) is in the mountains.

The Eifel mountains are up in the northern reaches of Germany near Bavaria. I spent part of my tour there in a small town called Pruem, a town some 35 clicks from Koln (Cologne).
The mountainous area reminded me of Vermont, the state of my birth.

Harz Mountains northern most, in the south there are the Bavarian Alps. There are many more. You've never heard of the Black Forest?
I suspect you are a child who is too lazy to read her book. Why don't you just get a book on Germany or German geography? You could even get this using a search engine.
