well about 3 weeks ago i told my friend that i liked the guy that she also liked too. well that weekend he asked me out. of course i said yes! well later when she found out she was happy for me and said she likes another guy anyway. well its been 2weeks now and she is getting really pissy with me about it all (me and the guy a.k.a my bf). i fought with her today and now were not talking.. what do i do?

Tis is a very ricky situation. Someone has to be hurt in all this and of course, it's her. But this is not your fault. He chose you.
Of course she is going to be a little cool for a while but I think this too shall pass with time.
Why not call her and try to plan something for the 2 of you to do together so she doesn't feel left out of the loop now that you have the guy...

You have cross an unseen line in girlfriend respect. If you girlfriend liked that guy first, then you must back off out of respect. You never say you like them too or, even worse, accept any date with them. It is taken as betrayal.
You need to tell her that you didn't think he was such a big deal - unless you knew. If she said she liked others, then remind her that he was one of the many guys she thought was cute. BUT if she told you that this was the only guy that she liked - then you really did cross that respect line.

I dont think you should have talked to guy knowing your Best Friend also liked him, If you think this guy is worth you guys friendship, then it sounds like you already made up you mind on which is more important!! You have to think about her feelings and take into consideration .....How would you feel if you were in her shoes! I hope you make the right decision.

She wasn't really happy for you in the beginning. If she was a real friend she would be happy and find someone else. She doesn't sound like the kind of person you need to call a friend.

If you want to save your friend, you might have to break up with him, If you want to lose her, just keep on doin what your doin, But another way to keep your friend, go talk to her and say "sorry, life sucks" if she forgives you...... then try to help her find a guy that she likes, but i'm also not going to promise that your friend will forgive you.....Good Luck

she probly hasnt even moved on. ask her why she is mad with you, if she tells u its because of the guy, dump him. No guy is EVER worth a friendship
