Most pop and rock music has the same basic backbeat structure of the snare hitting on beats 2 and 4. the reggaeton feel of the snare falling on the "and" of 2 and 4 is sometimes known as the "Dem Bow" beat - named after the song by Shabba Ranks. That song was made in 2004, so it's kinda old. I have an alternate version of that song.
