Why might the individual colonies have rejected the Albany Plan of Union? thanks!

i'm sorry but i don't have a textbook to look from.....just a piece of paper summarizing the chapter but it has nothing about why everyone disagreed to the union plan...

States Rights...afraid of becomign one union under one government (still dealin wtih GB)

actually, the reason is because they wanted to rid themselves of ruler ship under britain. some didn't reject it. all were concerned.

i am not a historian, however, i did stay at a holiday inn express last night!

they weren't ready to give up their sovereignty.
(sovereignty= individual states rights/powers)
