it is a slang expression for obtaining consent from a human female to penetrate her vagina . the vagina is lovingly compared to a "gash" in the surface of the female since it is a slitted opening that allows entry, such as a gash in something may offer.
there are numerous slang terms for the genitalia and this is just one of them.

"get cracking" means the same thing as "get started", or "get on with it". Whenever I use it, I mean "come on, lets do this!" Hope this helps!

back in the slave days there was a person in charge of the workers in the fields and if one of the slaves was not working they would get cracked with the whip of the field boss. So the saying lets get cracking comes from the slave owners telling the field boss to get everybody working.
