I have to write a yearbook stry about what girls carry around in their purses .. any ideas ?

I would make the story about how what a person carries with them tells a lot about who they are as a person- it's a little peek into them. Are they prepared for anything? (tissues, medicine, safety pin) Do they have several of the same item because they're a worry wort? (pens in case the ink runs out, extra pantyhose?) Maybe you could end it with a question, to encourage the readers to think about what they are carrying with them mentally. Also include a list of the most unusual items the other students admitted to having.

Phew! It's about time I tidied up a little in there! Oh My God, does the content of my purse say something about me? Am I High-Maintenance? :O

Ha! Well I carry all the fun stuff BUT I have to have instant hand sanitizer (germaphobe) a ziploc bag of cheerios (never know when ur gonna get hungry....I've been thru some tuff times w/those cheerios) carmex and/or lipgloss, umm...hmm...a pencil/small notebook (handy dandy), my celly, and on occasion a note or too LoL other than that the obvious things a girl would need and that's it!

Haha...oh my goodness, my whole life is in my purse. I dumped out the contents just to answer your question...What I found was:
lipgloss, foundation compact, a pack of gum that I don't remember buying, my wallet (which contains my debit card, drivers license, insurance card, gift cards that I really should use, business cards that I need for some reason, a picture of my husband, a picture of my daughter, a picture of my brother and sister in law and my godson, and like 11 bucks.), my checkbook and registry, a pen, a ton of change, a stack of receipts, my keys, and my cell phone.

Take a Survey on the essential items that girls carry with them in their purse...things they "never leave home without".

I would put the survey in chart form and then include a small description underneath with quotes spreading out the rest of the page.

I'm not a girly-girl so I hate carrying a purse, but since I have to at school and stuff because of you-know. I have to put SOMETHING in it.

1. Pencils. Even broken ones.
2. Snacks.
3.Pens.
4.Wallet. {If I remember to put it in there}
5.Eyeliner.
6.The occasional feminine products.
7. Mirror. {But I forget it,also.}
8. Notes/Letters.
9.Right now I have a shirt in there. o_O
10. 1-3 dollars. Spare change.
11. House key.
12. Cellphone. {But I lost it. oo; }
13. More candy.
14. CD Player
15. I forgot. I put my chain&leather necklaces in there.
16. Also my gloves.
17. Batteries.
18. CDs.
19. Shard of glass. {I like it...}
20. Weird stuff like that shard of glass, crazy pictures I draw, poems, fake snake, occasional incense, and badges. {Not work badges or anything, just badges you sew on your pants or something.}
Sounds like a lot to me. x_x....But most of that I forget to put in there and my purse is little. I hate carrying stuff. 'Specially them 'femine products'. ._.;
I hate carrying make-up. I just put my eyeliner in there incase I need it. It's the only make-up I wear. I swear... Don't you people believe in Natural Beauty? I understand if you're using it to cover up..bumps/acne. oo;
But yea...That's all I put in there.

My wallet, my checkbook, a notepad jus in case!! A pen, some gum, some hand sanitizer cause i go in ppls homes and take care of the seniors that can't take care of themselves. so i always carry hand sanitizer. Thats about it, i don't carry makeup and lipstick stuff like that. I carry chapstick and thats about it.

lol, I just got my purse out and rummaged through it for you.
It's a small, black Coach purse, but it's pretty jam packed.
I have:
-Half-eaten packet of Dentyne gum
-My silver ipod mini with its headphones wrapped around it
-My cell phone
-Three dollars and a dime, plus 6 pennies at the bottom
-a tampon (lol)
-a pen
-clear lipgloss
-compact mirror
-eyeliner
-receipt from Taco Bell
-Movie ticket stub (to Accepted)

i usually just use my pockets but when i do carry a purse i carry my make up, money, cell phone, ipod, my camera, a pen, and a few other random things
