Abortion should be illegal because the fertile womb is a natural resource and it should be regulated just like a national forest. That could be another soldier or taxpayer that is being lost forever do to one young woman's immorality.
Furthermore, abortion is not God's will. The blessed Virgin Mary has appeared before many cardinals and televangelists urging them to oppose this dreadful practice of abortion.
Finally, those in the religious community know, terribly and personally, that there are MARRIED WOMEN with a lot of home equity and a faithful husband who also get abortions! Imagine that! How can people be so heartless? How can people be so cold?
It's the job of government to pass laws and enforce them to make people decent and Godly and upright. Abortion leads us away from the Christian utopia so many people want.

I personally do not feel that an abortion should be illegal, I know that it is murder because your killing a fetus. However, If I was to get raped, I would hate to have to carry this child full term. I know that I could give it up for adoption but why should I risk messing up my body for something I do not want.
Also it makes it worse to actually see that child and know what the father did. Even if that child is innocent I would not see it that way... Because I did not choose to have a baby, especially that way...

it should not be illegal. If they made abortion illegal it would lead to many young girls doing many stupid things because this option has been removed.
i am in no way saying abortion is right, but its each persons individual choice. and yeah, it sucks that the baby has no say. but as a mother of a 27week preemie, i can say, those babies couldn't survive outside the womb, and if its done before that time, then fine.
its better than having the baby and tossing it into a garbage can somewhere or putting it into a plastic bag and leaving it somewhere.

You have opened a can of worms with this question, put your thick skin on for the responses. Abortion robs a baby of a chance at life and the world of what might of been. Not to mention leaves a mother with a lifetime of regret and what might of of's as well. I think its a hard choice for a reason because there really is alot on the line.
I think illegal abortions isn't a great idea either because they will happen regardless. And there are cases of rape, incest, health concerns that make it a viable option in times of crisis.

ABORTION IS WRONG AND SHOULD NEVER E DONE!!!!!!!It's not the baby's fault it should still get a chance in the world. Not just to be taking out of it for no reason. If you don't want the baby you should still have it and give it up for adoption not kill it. How would you feel if your parents didn't want you and you were never born think about. Don't kill babies give them a chance at life.

I don't think it should, but I do think there should be some pretty severe and strict rules about it. I see no point in using it as birth control, or when a 15 year old cannot keep her legs together. I think it is only appropriate in situations where it would harm or kill the mother or if the baby is going to be born with some hideous abnormality or disorder.

I wouldn't personally have a abortion.I have two wonderful kids that I love with all my heart and my third due in April but , I do think its a woman's choice.Theres ectopic pregnancy's,rape,incest.I would prefer to see a woman carried the child and give it to a loving home.As I said though it's a woman choice.It shouldn't be up to the government to decide what a woman should do with there body.Its also not right for people to judge what a person does with there body.

A lot of young girls and women who just don't care use abortion as a form of birth control. If/When it is legalized, it needs to be regulated somehow.
Personally, I am against abortion unless it is an extenuating circumstance. (i.e. rape, unhealthy for the mother, etc.)

It has a heart beat, just because some one ****** up and got pregnant.....they feel they have the right to aport a baby makes me sick...now there are some reasons they should be able to. If there raped then thats okay, but other then that...you got to be kidding me if someone thinks it is okay to aport an un-born child at three months it is alive I don't care what anyone says!

it should never be illegal.a womans pregnancy has nothing to do with the government. or anyone else for that matter. i dont know where these prolife people get off thinking that they should have a say in what someone else does with their body.that we should pass a law stating that something so personal can be illegal. oh yeah. .....because its "murderrrrrrr............"well if its not your body or your life its none of your ******* business.
