I would sit or lay on the sidewalk and cry. I would feel so bad and would try to understand and yet, I would ask him, why ?? Why would you make such a terrible mistake? It would depend on how he would react and hopefully apologize , while trying to help me up. If he apologized whole heartedly, I would continue to cry and say it is OK. Then I would try to find my place and hide and continue to cry until I could cry no more. Rest for a few days and then go on with my life.

1. defend self, even if it means lethal to them.
2. call police....
3. File charges if the attempted killer lived.
4. If I fail in the fight, do 2-3, and later on ,repeat #1 with better effort.

I don't know that I would give them a chance to apologize.
I'd probably loose my temper & get into a fight with them.

AFTER THE FIRST SLAP, HE WOULD BE KNOCKED THE f@CK OUT, AND I WOULD TAKE ALL HIS MONEY AND JEWELRY. NOT TO MENTION HIS CELL PHONE TOO.
