I am 34 weeks pregnant. For the last 10-15 mins i have had shooting pains in my vaginal area. It's not the liagments streching. I know what that feels like. This pain feels like my something is on fire. Has this ever happened to anyone before?

For the first two clowns who answered my question. The first one i already called the doc i am waiting for him to call back. I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced this before. For the second clown that said that it might be an std, thats impossible because since i found out that i was pregnant i haven't had intercourse. Please don't waste my time answering the question if u can't give an honest answer. If u are trying to bait me into saying something stupid, don't worry it won't happen. Have a good day

Can anyone that answers my question, please READ it first. Everyone for the most part keeps saying call the doc, if u would read the whole question, it says that i am waiting for a call. Please don't be so desperate for 2 points that u don't fully read the question.

It could be a UTI ( urinary tract infection) sometimes they cause you to run a fever in your vagial tissue. It could be the way the baby is laying on your artery. It might be braxton hicks style contractions on your cervix. I had contractions on my cervix and they felt similar to what you are talking about post when you know what it is. I hope your Dr. calls soon.

I had some weird pains like that in the end. They happened mostly when I was out fo rmy evening walk. I woudl call your doctor. No one here can tell you for sure.

Yes and I had infection when I was pregnant with my last child. Call your doctor and he or she can prescribe the right meds for this. You have to be careful with kind of medicine you take.

sounds like an infection i had before that started off like that. get it checked out if it gets any worse as i ended up in hospital with it for some serious antibiotics. never leave anything unnatended when your pregnant its too risky. gl

no, im 38 weeks pregnant....those are CONTRACTIONS! they feel like sharp pains that shoot up your vagina for a few minutes and then they stop. You should time them, and if they keep persisting, call your doctor because it could be a sign of early labor.

Could be muscle spasms. Could be an infection if it "feels like fire". Get to your GYNO and make sure everything is alright.
