Blowing a fuse or tripping a breaker for a disposal usually has 4 possible causes.
1) Something is stuck in the disposal
2) The motor is bad or damaged
3) The fuse/breaker is not the correct capacity
4) there is a short in the wiring to the device
Find out which it is and fix it.

Take a long wooden spoon, insert the handle into the drain til you reach the cutters, try to rotate it left and right. If it won't move, check with a flashlight to see if something is wedged in, it should be obvious if there is. If it is not wedged, it could be dry, take any kind of cooking oil, pour 1/4 cup in and continue trying to rotate left and right. If that doesn't work, it's time for a new one. Good Luck

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. Therefore as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.

If the blade is clear and turns freely. tossit out. They cannot be serviced. Even if they could, the repair costs would exceed the cost of a new one.
