NHS is a dead horse nowdays anyway, long waits, unclean hospitals - take out insurance if you can afford it.

Perhaps it's more to do with freeing up beds in the bigger hospitals. I had a knee operation the other day and was sent to the most beautiful, clean, peaceful hospital, - courtesy of the NHS.
The care and provision was out of this world, but I've been warned... next time, I get the usual noisy, manky MRSA-contaminated local hospital...

Strange that isnt it.. but here is a tale - My Mum had a new knee operation in Glasgow Royal Infirmary.. the surgeon bodged it up - my Mums knee got infected ..from the filthy bed linen and manky floors - My family chipped in and got her moved to a lah-de-dah well known private hospital in Glasgow - cost was £8K .. On the day of her new operation to repair the damage - I went to see her - I nearly pissed myself with laughter & anger .. it was the same Mutant surgeon who done the bodged op in the Royal - only this time he managed to do it right..

We don't have private NHS hospitals- you either go to a private hospital such as Bupa or you go to an NHS hospital for free. Silly question
