Pretty woman and Home Alone....
Both are movies that make you think someone is out there looking to take care of you... but the lead is figuring out in their own way they can make it on their own!

I would say home alone and ghost, because I love a good laugh so I loved home alone, also I think ghost had a great storyline, especially the bit at the end where the window breaks and a large piece of glass falls and stabs the guy through the stomach, well cool.
