What is the quality of video from itunes like?

When you download a movie or tv show from itunes, how is the quality? Im sure it's great if you're watching it on a little ipod screen, but can you watch it on your computer as well? How is the quality on a computer screen?

Itunes uses a 320x240 resolution. It looks great on ipods, but can get grainy on larger screens (such as your computers). Also, extreme colors (light or dark) may not show up correctly.

The one movie that I downloaded looked great. Not as good as a large digital file, but very good.
