Is there any type of food/ smell that will get it to come out (othere than other insects)? Or any other suggestions? I'm not scared of it, I just don't want it crawling over me and wakeing me up in the middle of the night like it did last night!

Spray with ant and roach killer. It works! It will flush the spider out. Also, sweep and/or vacuum the room to scare the spider out.
Most times the spider has crawled into a hamper or dark place such as a closet.

From my experience, spiders like dark places like the corners and where there are clothes and shoes. clean up some and move things around. If you have any kind of clothing or blankets on the floor check it out. If I know there's a spider in my room I won't sleep until I get that sucker out! good luck

Hell. when I said a hairy motherfu**** crawling close to my settee, i changed into on the look-out for the subsequent 2 hours. It took me 10 seconds to ultimately weigh down him to death when I discovered him, and that is with a 5kg weight. Now, to the point. the only genuine advice i'd supply you is to visit a Psychologist. opposite to primary conception, they do no longer cope with only insane human beings, and there is somewhat no longer something undesirable in vacationing one. i'm actually intending to change into one contained in the destiny. the point is: no DVD, CD or thateverD can help you want an counseled psychologist. in case you come back to a decision to visit one, which I see as your only lengthy-lasting selection, then you actually also needs to point out your different issues to boot. Now, your mom will somewhat no longer help your worry, no matter if she kills the spider. only search for advice from a professional. trust me, it ought to pay off. P.S. Spiders... Ah, no :p . this would not help your worry in any respect :) besides, i'm hoping you kill your phobia. Its no longer the spider it somewhat is at fault, yet an interpretation interior your mind (I cant supply any extra innovations in my view, or insure the validity, for the reason that I only study one e book on psychology thus far) only visit someone who would understand what's happening on your mind, and could be able to fix it. yet in case you somewhat dont favor to visit a psychologist, then you actually would evaluate hypnosis. there are various functional loose hypnosis audios on the web which possibly ought to help you. or perchance you should study self-hypnosis, which isn't that complicated. Edit: after reading different comments, I have this to operate/repeat: The spider isn't the precedence right here. it is your own ideas set/view of issues. no matter if you organize a poisonous fallout at your position of abode, I doubt that the phobia will flow away.

Ooooh!! That happend to me once! First I would make sure it is not in ur bed, so I would get clean sheets. Second, I would take a flashlight and a vacum and try to find it with the flashlight. Then Suck it up with the vacum (or you could pick it up with a paper towel and put it outside. your choice). If you can not find it, then and it's really bothering you, call a man-neighbor and he might come and find it.

I have the same problem, so either throw some bug spray, clean out your room, or ignore it. If you keep worrying, you can go nuts!
