OK this season is gonna be on tough but good season. Ottawa still has a powerful team but their goaltending is where it all comes down to. Thats what screwed them over last year. Carolina i dont believe they have a chance after losing most of their powerful force players. So to be honest i think its all gonna come down to St Louis, Buffalo, and Calgary. St. Louis has a good team this year, they picked up strong defense and very affective forwards but if they dont do it this year then they wont anytime soon cuz they picked up alot of older guys who no doubt will be retiring soon. Calgary has had a great team for several years and with Iginla i believe they will atleast make it pretty far into the playoffs. Buffalo had an amazing season, basically losing their chance at the cup becuz of injuries. But they havent lost many players and still have one of the best goalies in the league right now. They have a solid veteran defensive core and fast, talented young forwards. So my final choice is Buffalo vs Calgary in the cup with buffalo coming out on top

I hope it's the Red Wings but I think the teams to watch out for are the Ducks and the Preds. I think both teams are going to surprise a lot of people this year.

Carolina or Anaheim.

Anaheim quietly got scarey over the off-season, Carolina kept it's core group from their Cup run together.

I think Detriot's done for a few years.

That experience-up will be practically as EPIC© as my avatar! it might also be EPIC© if Crosby scored! OMG in spite of the indisputable fact that the most EPIC© element will be if the penguins prevented the sweep! in spite of the indisputable fact that, i like the EPIC© of the Wings/Canadians, or perhaps the EPIC© Wings/Flyers experience-up, or an unique 6 EPIC© Wings/Bruins sequence. rattling, all that stuff is practically as EPIC© as Henrik Zetterberg's lady friend! okay, my EPIC© rant is over.

Detroit Red Wings Experienced goal tending (Hasek) great young talent (Datsyuk, Zetterberg) and solid Defense (Lidstrom, Chelios) Stever Yzerman will still play a major role for the team in management

Ok, so I really think the Flyers have a chance they seem to have a good team, now if you look at the pre-season scores there not doing so hot but hey, I think that they'll pick it up and they'll be great!!

Canadians will continue to gnash their teeth as the Carolina Hurricanes repeat as Stanley Cup champs. (assuming, of course, we overcome the loss of Eric Cole and Martin Gerber ropes it together in time for the start of the season.)
