We are arriving in Barcelona at 9 in the evening in the airport. We already booked a hotel in Villanova i La Geltrd. Any suggestions? The cheaper the better.

We are arriving in Barcelona airport at 9pm. We dont know what to ride going to Villanova i La Geltru. Any suggestions for a cheaper ride? Taxi is too expensive. Another thing, I have a problem with the hotel wehre I booked. I went to hostelworld.com and they charged me more in my credit card by booking online more by 100 plus Euros... there must be something wrong with their system. What should I do? And Im also planning to cancel the booking since it is too far from the airport and the city of Barcelona. Thanks ahead.

Definitely cancel the hotel reservation, if you can get your money back, and try another hotel closer to where you want to stay...

As to the cheapest way from the airport to Barcelona, there is a public bus line that goes from the airport into the city.. Actually there is more than one route. Ask which is best for your destination at the airport information desk once you have picked up your luggage on arrival...

Take the train from the airport to "El Prat de LLobregat" and from there take the train to Vilanova or Barcelona, whichever you decide to do. It's cheap and the trains run every half hour or so until 11.30 at night.
