My Granny and Aunty sent me back a postcard from PERSIA in the 1970's.
I think both Iran and Iraq were part of Persia, my Mum & Dad had an old dictionary with Persia marked on Northern Africa( there was no mention of Morrocco either on that map)Maybe you should look into this a bit more thoroughly to get a really good grade on this assignment , I suspect Persia covered a lot of North Africa.
It came as a shock to me when I was at school and found out that the countries I had been learning names and capital cities of hadn't always been called those names.( Poland actually disappeared for a while once)

Persia. Many Iranians still refer to themselves as Persians and not Iranians.
