Im a lesbian but far from single so i only fit the criteria for half of your question but i wanna answer anyway. When i was single (a yr and a half ago) i hung all over the place. I use 2 b a club head but i kinda grew out of it so i would divide my time between gay clubs, spoken word joints, movies, just out & about around touristy spots (im from cali so i would be in San Francisco or Oakland alot cuz there arwe always people around. Gay people to be more specific...i mean its San Francisco.) or (one of my favorites) at a frenz house. My friends kno how to keep anyhone quite entertained so i love bein around them. I pretty much do the same things now that im all wyfed up!

I am a bit older then the rest of the crowd here on this site but I am single and "hang" with friends at dinner parties, church socials, house parties etc.
Bars etc. were fun while young but not on top of list now.

Local bars or bookstores. Normal places. To find someone? I dont know, if you're old enough, go to some gay bars. Any where really. Here in Chicago its great, you just go up to Boystown. :)
