You have to be within range of a wireless router. From there your internal Wireless LAN will auto-connect.

You do know ur posting this on the internet dont you??

If ur at home ull need to be connected to an ISP and have a wireless modem/router, your ISP should have details on all the settings you need.

If your out and about ull need to find a wireless hotspot, I think most starbucks have them & they normally have leaflets detailing how to connect

To use a wireless network card to connect to the Internet you need a wireless router to transmit the signal. Or you can scan your local neighbourhood for some fool that didn't encrypt theirs! Use it - but don't abuse it!

No it will search for a connection automatically if there is none wit in a range no joy have to move till you get one it is unlike other country's we are so behind and most people are connected through gable or B T keep trying Dave
